October 16, 1993 Elmer passed away at MSA hospital – interred at McClure cemetery in Abbotsford.
Ruth returned to Kalimantan for two years. (1995-1997 ??)
May 13, 2000 Ruth succumbed to a two year battle with Multiple Systems Atrophy and passed away in Tabor Home in Abbotsford. She is interred in the same cemetery and plot as her beloved husband Elmer with whom she served for 53 years
