Elmer and Ruth Warkentin were married on June 10, 1950. They arrived in Pontianak, Kalimantan Barat on April 10, 1951. They spent the rest of their lives serving the Dayak people in the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Elmer passed into the presence of Jesus on October 16, 1993 after a valiant 9 month fight with cancer. Ruth passed into the presence of her Lord on May 13, 2000 after a two year struggle with MSA.
Their lives were spent in the service of the Lord Whom they loved and obeyed.
